
The company profileMalbo is a limited company with the share of the foreign capital. Is is directed by the formermembers of the management of both shipyards in Wrocław (Poland), people with great proffesional experience and a considerable practice in building ships and other steel constructions. Malbo was formed in 1991, taking over a part of the buildings and machinery of the River Shipyard in Wrocław (Wrocławska Socznia Rzeczna) and employing its workers. Its activities are therefore a continuation of the good shipyard traditions in the production of steel constructions. It enjoyes very good commercial contacts in the Western Europe and maintains its own agents in the Netherlands and Germany.
Malbo supplies steel constructions including: In 1996 the company started building ships in the shipyards in state of insolvency and possessing a permission to carry on commercial activities. In August of 97 it won the tender for the long period leaseof the shipyard in Malczyce, where the production is managed by the Stocznia Malbo Ltd. Co, which possesses its seat there and was registered in the July of 1995. Malbo possesses 90% of shares in this company.
The shipyard Malczyce has an skid of 60 meters of lenght and 240 tones of carrying capacity, and a set of machinery necessary to the repairing and building of ships. These conditions enable us to supply by waterways constructions the element of which weight up to 30 tones.
